Odd Jobs

Tim Broderick is the cartoonist who creates Odd Jobs. Odd Jobs is set in modern day America and is a serial mystery/detective strip. Odd Jobs follows serious topics for story arcs. Odd Jobs follows the life of David DiAngelo. He makes his living doing odd jobs for people, some of which are quite unusual and dangerous. He takes a detached attitude toward his work, perhaps due to the experiences he has had in his line of work. Despite the danger that some jobs pose, he calmly does them as he works toward their completion. He gets a large number of jobs through Helena Ferar, an empathy whom he has fallen for.

Paragon Fishing

The artists simply known as Bean and UnFan are the cartoonists who create Paragon Fishing. Paragon Fishing is a serial strip that follows the lives of two roommates and their next door neighbor. Noah Quentin Whitcraft, is a nice but unlucky guy, having a low self-esteem from years of being picked on in school coupled with traumatizing relationships. After the end of his most promising relationship yet, he gets yet another blow when he is evicted from his apartment. Not being able to go home, he considers life on the street over the alternative, rooming with his high school/college bully, Owen Daniel Carmichael. Owen oozes confidence, and with his perchance for causing mischief, he can easily get his friends into trouble. Fortunately, he has a natural charisma that attracts people to him, even though he ends up going through dates in sometimes less than five minutes! Noah eventually chooses having a home, and is pleasantly surprised to find that Owen has changed, and has become more laid back. As a way of making up for the years of being picked on, Owen has resolved to be nicer toward Noah, and considers him a friend. Unfortunately for Noah, Owen's neighbor, T, immediately takes a shine to him. T is a large balding man who has no qualms with saying what's on his mind, a fact that gets him into no end of trouble. T can be very impulsive and inquisitive, even following Noah to work at times to get to know him. Noah can easily be manipulated through peer pressure to do things, a fact that Owen and T readily use to get him into going out and doing things with them. While they do take advantage of him, they also (in their own way) help prepare Noah for life in the real world, whether he wants to or not.

Place Name Here

Doug Hills is the cartoonist who creates Place Name Here. Place Name Here is a serial strip that follows the life of the artist himself. Doug had problems coming up with an idea of what kind of comic strip to do, so he thought over various ideas of kinds of strips to make. Ironically, his wife Stacey, told him to make a comic strip about his struggle to come up with a comic strip. (Place Name Here is about Doug trying to come up with a comic strip and the Doug in the strip decided to come up with a comic strip about a guy coming up with a comic strip. Confused yet?) Through this we get a look at Doug's personal life, an idea of his job, and his dreams of becoming a professional wrestler. Once he came up with his comic, Chibi Cheerleaders from Outer Space, he ended Place Name Here, only to revive it months later. Now the comic continues to follow Doug and Stacey's lives, but not emphasizing the search for the perfect online comic.

PowerPuff Girls Doujinshi

The Cartoonist known as Bleedman creates The PowerPuff Girls Doujinshi (an unofficial, amateur produced manga based upon successful, well established manga or anime series) is a serial strip that follows the lives of the PowerPuff Girls (as seen on Cartoon Network). Professor Utonium created the PowerPuff Girls in an effort to create the perfect girls, and due to accidental addition of Chemical X, they became super-powered girls, who “fight crime just before bedtime”. After moving from Townsville to Megaville, the PowerPuff Girls enroll into Megaville Elementary and enter the first grade. Blossom is the leader of the PowerPuff Girls. She is cool under high pressure and makes all of their plans. Bubbles is the soft-spoken member of the group, preferring to enjoy life as a little girl, and remains naive of most of the adult-level issues the girls deal with every day. Buttercup is the impulsive one, preferring to quickly answer all challenges in her life with a show of force and hates to lose. Immediately after joining the class, Buttercup comes at odds with a fellow classmate, Dexter, Boy Genius (also seen on Cartoon Network), as his haughty attitude irritates her. Blossom on the other hand, is strangely attracted to Dexter, as his loner lifestyle and high intelligence gives her someone whom she can talk to and might relate to her own experiences. However, she notices that a dark cloud seems to follow Dexter, and seems to dampen his creative spirit, causing him to obsess over trying to recreate his lost sister, DeeDee. Of course, Megaville is not without peril, as MoJo JoJo has followed the PowerPuff girls, determined to break them as he views the girls as is only obstacle to ruling the world. He receives help from an unknown source, who seems to be a figure pulling the strings of the various super-villains of Megaville, and who seems keenly interested in Dexter and the PowerPuff Girls.

Return To Sender

Vera Brosgol is the cartoonist who creates Return to Sender. Return to Sender is a weekly serial strip that follows the lives of two friends, Often and Colette. Often is a copy editor for the Post-Gazette, who tends to be laid back and tries to not let his emotions get the better of him. Colette makes up for Often's mellowness with her rambunctiousness and off-the-wall attitude. She does whatever whim comes to mind and enjoys dragging Often on whatever flight of fancy she goes on. Recently, Often moved into a spacious new apartment, with a low monthly rent. Suspicious of his seemingly good fortune, he and Colette look the apartment over for obvious problems, and the only thing they can find wrong is a mail slot that is fixed into a interior wall that goes to nowhere. This in itself isn't too strange, but when they start receiving letters from said mail slot, he is rightfully puzzled. After reading the letter and following the ever-changing directions, Often is horrified when a series of events is enacted that results in the freak accidental death of a four-year-old girl. Now Often is dreading what other surprises might be in store with his new apartment, while Colette finds all of this part of some grand adventure, gleefully awaiting the next letter.

River City High

Patrick Schulteis is the cartoonist who creates River City High. River City High is a serial sprite comic that follows the life of a high school student named Alex. Alex is a hyperactive teen with a perchance toward fighting. Not being very bight, he prefers action to words, as he can always seem to get his point across. Alex can be easily tricked, but once he catches on, watch out. Being one of the toughest kids at Cross Town High School, Alex is never without his trusty chain he lovingly calls, Mr. Links. Wanting to have an actual friend to talk to, he befriends a fellow detention-mate named Ryan. Ryan and Alex find that Ryan's girlfriend has been kidnapped, and Alex is eager to help his newfound friend by going off to save Cyndi by himself. Alex treks all across town fighting the various gangs with glee, and all the while collecting the money they leave behind in order to get various foods or experimental sodas. Ryan, on the other hand, is taking it easy, and playing on the sympathies of other girls to “help ease his pain”. Cyndi, on the other hand, has found that she can manipulate the leader of the gangs, Slick, who kidnapped her, and is treating this like a little vacation. The question isn't will Alex and Ryan ever be able to save Cyndi, but rather, does Cyndi even want to be rescued?

Road Waffles

A cartoonist nicknamed Eight created Road Waffles. Road Waffles was a serial strip that followed the life of a trigger-happy young woman named Haley. After stealing her ex-boyfriend's car and leaving town, she would drift from town to town seeking something to make her life more exciting. One thing that she found to make her life more exciting was to hold up gas stations. One day she held up a gas station that Bruno worked at. When she held him up, he ended up going with her, leaving his gas-pumping life behind. They had many adventures on the road, ranging from fighting a psychopathic gun-toting squirrel, to running into a serial killer with a fetish for pigs, to even a kid-turned-zombie and his horde of zombie road kill.

RPG World

Ian Jones-Quartey is the cartoonist who creates RPG World. RPG World is a serial strip that follows the lives of a no-named hero and his group of intrepid friends. The hero is a warrior with a mysterious past, one that he doesn't remember, after an evil organization (SEVIL) wiped his memories in order to have a more obedient killing machine. After getting kicked out of SEVIL, the hero ended up meeting new friends and allies, finally forming the current party of adventurers that he has now. Accompanying the hero on his journey are the following individuals: Cherry, a strong-willed female thief who ends up being confused by two major things, one being the number of contradictions to normal life and the other being the growing attraction she has with the hero; Diane, a female harlot, who ends up not even being one in the first place, turned mage, who also has affections towards the hero; Eikre, a male rogue who is enamored with Cherry and through the process of being with the party ends up displaying several mannerisms and tendencies which reminds the party of their nemesis, Galgarion; and finally, the party's requisite cute, fuzzy thing, Dragobo. RPG World shows the readers a take on what it might be like for the daily lives of the characters in your favorite video game RPG (Role-playing game).
Skirting Danger
Meredith Gran is the cartoonist who creates Skirting Danger. Skirting Danger is a serial strip that follows the life of an aspiring fashion designer named Courtney Brightland. Courtney comes from the prestigious Brightland family, who are known for being very wealthy, but also a bit odd. Ever since she was saved from a deadly fall as a little girl, she wanted to become a superhero and help out those in need. In order to do this, she became the superhero known as Skirting Danger, and works with her childhood friend and often close companion, Jake Martin. Jake is a superhero named Justice Second and is a high-ranking member at a local martial arts studio. Jake struggles with the desire to find himself, as evident with his constantly changing superhero name, and decide on what he will do with his life. A lot of his problems stem from the fact that he is in love with Courtney, but is afraid to tell her in case she does not feel the same way he does. This uneasiness causes some tension between the two, but due to Courtney's naiveté, she remains clueless about his intentions. Courtney lives with her roommate, an elf named Sidhe Hill, who generally dislikes Courtney's sunny disposition, and tries to find ways to dislike her. Sidhe finds herself the target of various racist comments as she is one of the few elves that live amongst the humans in America, and because of this, she finds it hard to view the majority of humans with distain, but slowly is starting to warm up towards her roommate, however slightly that might be.

Spaz Labs

C.G. Muggridge is the cartoonist who creates Spaz Labs. Spaz Labs is a serial/gag-a-day strip that is set in a secret Canada laboratory. A research scientist named Ted created a new life form and called it Z-man. Since that day, Z-man has been getting to know all of the members of the labs, and going through all the problems of learning everything there is to know about life from a group of people who are glad to make fun of him or set him up! Needless to say, this brings a lot of interesting situations, from meeting the robot security officer, to dealing with two talking hamsters. Z-man has a lot to learn, while Ted and the other researchers learn about him.

Surf Rat And Spencer

Kyle Goodman is the cartoonist who creates Surf Rat and Spencer. Surf Rat and Spencer is an anthropomorphic (animals that are attributed human-like qualities), serial strip that follows the life of a white mouse named Surf Rat. Surf Rat is a toy designer for Terminally Happy Toys, and he lives with his roommate, a human named Spencer. Surf Rat ends up spending most of his free time either hanging around with Spencer or with his girlfriend Savannah. Spencer is always looking for a woman who is “the one”. He seeks to find his soul mate and end up being happy, though his attempts to woo over the women he is interested in, is comical at best. He spends a large portion of his time brooding over April, the waitress at Sam & Ella's Diner.

Toy Trunk Railroad

Erik Sansom is the cartoonist who creates Toy Trunk Railroad. Toy Trunk Railroad is a serial/gag-a-day strip that has it's setting as a model train set, and follows the lives of the people who live in the model train set. Casey is the engineer of the Toy Trunk Railroad, and has to put up with his slow-witted sidekick and employee, Jeb. Aside from the lives of the people in the model train set, there are also the lives of the people who own the model train set. Walt loves trains. Walt takes care of his train set as best he can, fighting off work, his wife's nagging, the destructive games on the toy railroad of his son, an annoying bee.

Triangle And Robert

Patrick Shaughnessy is the cartoonist who creates Triangle and Robert. Triangle and Robert is a serial strip that follows the lives of two geometric shapes, a triangle named triangle, and a rhombus named Robert. Triangle and Robert exist on a world that was similar to ours, but the human race itself was considered the “fourth race”. Currently the dominant life forms on the planet are geometric shapes and clip art. A mysterious being named “The Cartoonist” came and started exerting his influence on their world, now their world went from a graphically rendered geometric world to a bleak white world, with basic colors and lines to compose themselves. Triangle and Robert get involved in many wacky adventures ranging from getting rid of cursed artifacts, to getting all the united states senators to sign a fish, to even a battle with the pudding watcher, Orpuddex. In fact, they get involved in so many wacky adventures that they opened up a business that specializes in wacky and zany adventures.

Winter

Matthew Kuzma, Michael Borchert & Lemuel Pew are the creators behind the comic Winter. Winter is a graphic comic style, serial strip that is set in an alternate Earth timeline. Ten years ago a great war that spans the globe erupted. As more and more able-bodied men went to go and fight in the war, society started to slowly crumble from neglect. Winter focuses on the lives of two siblings Aiser and Nezumi, who have to grow up in a crumbling world full of violence and scarcity. Money has become, for the most part, worthless, and society has reverted back to a bartering system to survive. Winter is the story of their struggle.

Ye Olde Towne Pub

Bobby St. Jacques, Jr. is the cartoonist who creates Ye Olde Towne Pub. Ye Olde Towne Pub is a serial strip that follows the lives of three patrons to an interdimensional pub called Towne Pub. The friends are: Solar Anthony Phinn, a traveler from the Star Wars universe; Marc Trebarg, a normal, easygoing guy; and Savage, a chief of security for an interplanetary starship, who's on leave for a very long time. These three friends try to sit in the pub and enjoy their drinks but their merriment is often interrupted by such events ranging from a demon chasing after a group of travelers to random dimensional portals appearing and sucking them inside.
